WARM UP

“Clean Out Closet”

For Time:

Go through closets and collect (good-condition) clothing & shoes that you no longer wear, fit into, or haven’t seen the light of day

  • ANY season
  • ANY functional domain (work, casual, workout, etc.) – outerwear and shoes included
  • Must be clean and in good wearable condition  (i.e., no stains, raggedy stuff)
  • Put in bags & save for 2/9

BUY-IN

Please bring:

  • $10 cash donation
  • Bag(s) of items to swap
  • Hangers if you have some (items look better when hung)
  • Something to “sip”, i.e., beverage of choice & snacks

WOD

“Operation Get New Clothes”

As you arrive, place clothes at marked stations for each category of clothing: dresses, workout clothes, pants, sweaters, shoes, etc

Once we have a quorum, AMRAP of ~120 minutes:

  • Visit each station, try on items and either claim or put back
  • Breaks and sips are encouraged to stay hydrated

TIP: Wear layers appropriate for easily trying on clothing 

Cash-Out

All remaining clothing and 100% of buy-in donations will go to a charity (or charities) selected by our friends at Silver Spring Cares!
