It’s hard to believe, but we are on the 5th and final week of the CrossFit Games Open! Workout 16.5 was just announced and it is a repeat from two years ago, 14.5, featuring Thrusters and Bar-Facing Burpees. Good thing we are all well-prepared for this one as we’ve programmed it twice in the last year at CFIL! If you’re planning on doing the workout, be sure to check back on your Wodify performance log from 1/27/2015 and 2/11/2016 so you can come up with your game plan!
As with previous weeks we will run the Open workout as a group on Saturday morning, with the Athletes Briefing at 9:10AM (gym opens at 8:45AM for warm-up). Following the Open WOD we will have a potluck celebration party! Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t want to perform the WOD — come on out and celebrate with your fellow members.
Open athletes may also perform the workout during the Friday 4:30PM WOD, Open Gym Sunday (10:45AM – 12:15PM), or any class on Monday. Remember, scores must be submitted to the Games website by Monday 8PM.
