MCPS Give Backpacks Initiative

Many of us at CFIL have or know kids in the Montgomery County Public Schools system… what you might not know is that over 50,000 students in the system receive free & reduced-price meals and many families struggle to afford basic necessities like school supplies. We’d like to encourage CFIL members to consider participating in this year’s MCPS Give Backpacks initiative. For as little as $10, you can provide a student with an entire backpack filled with school supplies! Donating is easy online, check, or even via text. More information and donate HERE!
